Fibrosis refers to fibrotic tissue, Fibrotic tissue contains scars, the tissue becomes thicker loosing it’s elasticity and ability to react in a normal way. If we eat cooked food as we age all our internal organs shrink as a result of fibrosis (unless we take enzyme supplements).

Fibrous tissue is one of the most abundant tissues throughout the body. White fibrous tissues consist of fibres of substance known as collagen, there are several kinds of fibrous tissue essential in the body, but the kind of fibrous tissue involved in fibrotic disease is produced as the result of inflammation and wounding, this produces scar like tissue that can invade organs.

Some diseases produce fibrosis such as Pulmonary Fibrosis and Cystic Fibrosis and you will find more information on these below.

Pulmonary Fibrosis

This involves scarring of the lung. Gradually, the air sacs of the lungs become replaced by fibrotic tissue. When the scar forms, the tissue becomes thicker causing an irreversible loss of the tissue’s ability to transfer oxygen into the bloodstream.

There is evidence that some people have a genetic predisposition for the condition but it is also thought that it may be a type of auto immune disorder and can also occur after a viral infection.  We recommend Serrepeptase as a natural supplement for Pulmonary Fibrosis which will help the inflammation in a natural, holistic way.

We recommend the treatment protocol outline in the article Factors Involved In Auto-Immune Disorders And Effective, Natural Treatment Protocols. which should be followed as you feel is appropriate for your individual needs.

The addition of Plant Sterols and Sterolins to the diet is essential.

Cystic Fibrosis

This is the UK's most common life-threatening, inherited genetic disease.  1 in 25 people in the UK carry the Cystic Fibrosis gene. It affects a number of organs in the body especially the lungs, pancreas and digestive system.

For the lungs we again recommend Serrepeptase which will help to reduce the inflammation in the airways and break down mucus. Cystic Fibrosis affects the pancreas, so we highly recommend Protease to provide natural support for the digestive system.

Colloidal Silver and Zell Oxygen would be helpful in all cases of fibrosis, and we would also highly recommend our Core Regime to compensate for ineffective digestion,  raise overall health in a holistic manner and provide an essential balance of natural vitamins and minerals in a form that the body can recognise and utilize effectively.
