The Aging Process

Aging is of course a natural process, but in the Western world, it seems we have come to accept that this should be accompanied by poor health. There are several groups of extremely healthy and long lived peoples around the world such as the Hunzas of Pakistan, and the Vilcabamba tribe of Equator.  A number of Hunza men and women over 120 years  old still work in the fields every day. By addressing our essential health needs, good health can be maintained in a holisitic manner.

Maintaining a healthy level of silica may overall retard the aging process. The average adult body requires the maintenance of about 20 grams of silica to promote good health. However, the body metabolizes and secretes about 10-40 mg. of silica per day through urination, hair loss and nail trimming. Thus, the body's natural level of silica declines with age causing signs of aging such as bone loss, dry and wrinkled skin, weakened teeth and gums and hair loss to occur.  Given the importance of silica in our diet, it is surprising that more people are not aware of it. Silica remains the missing element in many anti-aging programs of today.

There are many silica and silicon supplements on the market, but we believe that the Organic Silicon is unique in its therapeutic ability to replenish the system with sufficient silicon to allow the body to accomplish its own healing. This product is especially suitable for delicate types and for those with damaged nervous system, broken down types and hypersensitive types. As soon as one takes the first dose of the Organic Silicon a feeling of calm and improved sleep often follow.

Alpha Lipoic Acid has been found to aid memory, increase vitality and help offset the effects of ageing. Works by protecting mitochondria function and therefore helping to preserve cell function and energy perhaps the Ultimate Anti-Ageing Formula.

Studies have shown that L-Carnosine is a major tool in the fight against aging and degenerative disease.  It is found in all cells, but in higher quantities in the muscles, heart, kidney and brain cells. As we age, optimum conversion from dietary sources becomes inefficient.  In studies, the longer living animals had more carnosine present in their cells.
